Quantum process tomography on holographic metasurfaces

Abstract Holographic metasurfaces and their applications have garnered significant attention owing to role in polarization control. In this study, we demonstrate that the quantum properties of holographic can be obtained by state tomography (QST) process (QPT). We perform QST obtain experimental output states extracting information from holograms encoded on metasurface, develop a QPT-based method estimate metasurface. The theoretical derived estimated are good agreement with states, proving effectiveness our method. Our work not only provides analysis for understanding metasurfaces, but also paves way application field.

Quantum teleportation with atoms: quantum process tomography

The performance of a quantum teleportation algorithm implemented on an ion trap quantum computer is investigated. First the algorithm is analyzed in terms of the teleportation fidelity of six input states evenly distributed over the Bloch sphere.
